Relationship Among Baseline and Most Recent Total Quality of Life and Total Symptom Severity

Poor total quality of life is strongly related to the presence of advanced degrees of AIDS-related symptoms. The relationship is about the same for men and women, and individuals of differing ethnic-racial backgrounds and at different ages.
