Time In Program Until Initiating Case Management Services
Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to study the time between program
enrollment and the receipt of the first episode of Case Management Services (advocacy
services, clinical assessment, educational services, financial services, housing
assistance, legal sources, medical case management, and/or vocational services) for
2063 clients in ten programs. Combining data from ten programs, the mean estimated time until
receiving Case Management Services is 22.23 days (standard error = 2.45 days). The median
time until receiving Case Management Services is one day.
For the
1955 clients who received case management services, the median time until obtaining them was one day and the average time until
receipt was 3.26 days (standard error = 0.49 days).
Note: This curve shows the
time until a service is received. Since one would ideally wish to see
every client who needs a service receive it, an ideal curve would very
rapidly drop to 0 indicating that everybody who needed a service
received it.
