The tables below show the
information about the individuals trained at each project that
provided this information for the cross-cutting evaluation. The
intent of this presentation of individual project training populations
is not to directly compare projects. Rather, the training models of
individual projects, and the cross-cutting evaluation of the projects
in the aggregate, requires an understanding of the training
populations at the different projects.
Differences in
the size and needs of the training populations at specific projects
are attributable to a number of factors including: a) differences in
funding levels for the projects; b) the geographic areas; c) the
specific target populations for the training; and d) differences in
the service models (one-on-one consultations, self-study guides,
traditional didactic training in large and small groups,
preceptorships, etc.). Project
productivity should not be construed to be based on the number of
individuals trained.
