Reliability and Validity Studies:
Knowledge Items
Follow the links below to
view Knowledge Items pertaining to the reliability and validity of
indicators and analyses used throughout the Knowledge Base. Note that
although not all of the cited Knowledge Items are formally stated as a
reliability or validity study, the indices and results reported would
usually be used to demonstrate temporal reliability, internal
consistency, dimensional structure (internal consistency), or
convergent-divergent correlations with other measures in a predictable
theoretical pattern (construct validity). The items selected for
inclusion on this index would be used to assess reliability and/or forms
of validity, most notably construct validity. Note that all
patient-client studies have been conducted using data from individuals
who all have tested positive for HIV.
