The tables below show information
about the trainings conducted at this project and reported for the
cross-cutting evaluation. The
intent of this presentation of individual project training
characteristics is not to directly compare projects. Rather, the
training
models of individual projects, and the cross-cutting evaluation of the
projects in the aggregate, requires an understanding of the trainings
conducted by the different projects.
Differences in
the number and types of trainings conducted at specific projects
are attributable to a number of factors including: a) differences in
funding levels for the projects; b) the geographic areas; c)
the specific target populations for the training; and d)
differences in the service models (one-on-one consultations,
self-study guides, traditional didactic training in large and small
groups, preceptorships, etc.). Project
productivity should not be construed to be based on the number of
individuals trained nor the number of trainings conducted.
