Training Opportunities for Healthcare Workers:
AIDS Education and Training Centers

Are you a healthcare worker such as a nurse, physician, dentist, or social workers who is interested in obtaining training about HIV/AIDS issues?

The AIDS Education and Training Centers are a series of regional training centers for healthcare workers that have been established by HRSA at universities and medical centers throughout the U.S. The AETCs provide continuing education in a number of areas related to the medical treatment of HIV and the use of psychosocial supports to help in the treatment process.
